Following a previous interview where Liam Neeson admitted that he was "madly in love" with Pamela Anderson, the pair have gotten close on the red carpet.
At the London premiere of The Naked Gun, Anderson planted a kiss on Neeson’s cheek as they posed together - adding real-life intrigue to their upcoming on-screen partnership.
The two stars looked happy to be with each other, with Neeson, 73, wrapping his arm around the 58-year-old Baywatch icon, who stunned in a strapless deep purple Rodarte gown, per Page Six.
Neeson, effortlessly stylish in a gray suit and black shirt, seemed every bit the charismatic leading man.
Neeson gushed about his admiration for Anderson during an interview with People back in October.
“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with. I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you,” he said. “She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with,” adding that she doesn’t have a “huge ego.”
The admiration is clearly mutual. Anderson called Neeson “the perfect gentleman,” adding: “He brings out the best in you … with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
She also shared how she would show her appreciation behind the scenes, baking him bread and cookies and leaving them in his dressing room.
“[He] sincerely looked after me — wrapped his coat around me when I was cold,” she revealed.
Their upcoming film, a reboot of The Naked Gun, sees Neeson stepping into the role of Frank Drebin Jr. - the son of Leslie Nielsen’s original character - while Anderson plays a classic “femme fatale.”
Directed by Saturday Night Live alum Akiva Schaffer, the film also stars Paul Walter Hauser and Danny Huston.
Despite their on-screen spark and genuine affection, fans hoping for a real-life romance may be disappointed.
While both actors are currently single, Neeson has made his position clear. “I’m past all that,” he told PEOPLE in October 2024.
Following the tragic loss of his wife, actress Natasha Richardson, in a 2009 skiing accident, and a brief relationship with PR executive Freya St. Johnston, Neeson has largely kept his love life private.
While Neeson is best known for his action-packed roles in films like Taken, The Naked Gun marks a comedic turn for the veteran actor.
Though he's dipped his toes into humor with appearances in Ted 2, A Million Ways to Die in the West, and Derry Girls, this will be his first full-blown lead role in a comedy.

Pamela Anderson has spoken out after Liam Neeson declared that he was "madly in love with her" during an interview.
This would be the power couple of the century.
The pair are set to star in a reboot of the Naked Gun together, and it appears their time on set has led to a mutual admiration.
In this new installment, Anderson takes on the role of a “femme fatale” opposite Neeson, who portrays Frank Drebin Jr., presumed to be the son of Leslie Nielsen’s iconic character, Frank Drebin.
Neeson, 72, recently sat down with PEOPLE where he confessed his love for 57-year-old Anderson.
"With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with," the Taken star began.
He continued: "I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film."
Neeson further explained that he adores Anderson's comedic skills, but is less sure of his own.
Anderson, however, has full confidence in her co-star.
“It was hard to keep a straight face in scenes together,” she said, describing Neeson as “humble” and “the perfect gentleman.”
She added: “He brings out the best in you… with respect, kindness, and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
Their camaraderie on set extended beyond the scenes, with both stars exchanging thoughtful gestures.
Anderson recalled that Neeson “sincerely looked after me — wrapped his coat around me when I was cold.”
In return, she baked him bread and cookies, leaving them in his dressing room as a token of appreciation.
The reboot, directed by Saturday Night Live alum Akiva Schaffer, also stars Paul Walter Hauser and Danny Huston.
Neeson’s connection to the project came through producer Seth MacFarlane, his co-star in A Million Ways to Die in the West, who approached him with the idea.
“They are going to reboot it, would you be interested?” MacFarlane asked, to which Neeson replied: “Yeah, I would actually.”
While Neeson has become synonymous with action roles since his breakout in Taken, he is ready to try his hand at comedy before planning to retire from action films in 2025.
In terms of any blossoming romances between Anderson and Neeson, it seems like it's platonic love at the moment.
Neeson’s affectionate words about Anderson come after the actor revealed he is no longer seeking a romantic relationship.
Following the tragic loss of his wife, actress Natasha Richardson, in 2009, Neeson had a brief relationship with PR executive Freya St. Johnston.
He has since kept his love life private, telling PEOPLE: "I’m past all that."
If all of this has piqued your interest in the movie they are starring in together, then you'll be thankful to hear that it sounds very funny.
However, despite his extensive career, Neeson admitted feeling a bit daunted about stepping into a full-length comedy feature.
While he’s dabbled in comedic roles, such as Ted 2 and A Million Ways to Die in the West, and made memorable appearances in the TV series Derry Girls, this will be his first lead role in a comedy. Speaking to MovieWeb, he expressed his nerves, saying:
“I’ve done a couple of, like, TV skits with Stephen Colbert and Ricky Gervais, but those were two minutes, three minutes tops. But I’m a bit nervous about Naked Gun, because it’s a feature film...
"If he tests it well, which I’m sure he will, Akiva Schafer is our writer-director. And there’s lots of funny gags, lots of funny visual gags happening at the same time while ‘serious things’ are being discussed, you know?”
However, not everyone is thrilled about this new take on The Naked Gun. David Zucker, the director of the original film, has voiced his displeasure with the studio’s decision to proceed without his involvement.
“Paramount is just going ahead and doing it. They haven’t involved me. We were not excited about having the franchise given to other people. At the time, I couldn’t believe it because we thought we had a great script, and they loved the script from what we heard.
"I don’t have any control over it. I’m not involved, and they haven’t asked me for my help. It’s completely their concept, and they’re just going to go ahead and do it. They have not contacted me to make a cameo or be involved with the writing.”

As Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson continue their globe-trotting press tour for The Naked Gun reboot, their off-screen chemistry has been stealing the spotlight and leaving everyone wondering.
While promoting the slapstick comedy revival, Anderson and Neeson have drawn just as much attention for their flirtatious red carpet interactions as for the film itself.
Their undeniable rapport has fueled speculation that their on-screen romance (Neeson plays bumbling detective Frank Drebin opposite Anderson’s sultry nightclub singer Beth) may be spilling into real life.
Neither has denied the buzz. In fact, the pair only seemed to fan the flames further at the New York premiere outside the SVA Theatre, where they appeared inseparable. Anderson leaned in close and shot playful glances Neeson’s way, a now-familiar dynamic seen throughout the promotional campaign.
But is this budding romance real, or just good PR? According to body language expert Judi James, it might be more performance than passion. Speaking to MailOnline, she said there’s clearly “some chemistry,” visible in their mutual eye contact and softened facial expressions. However, she also noted signs of restraint.
“There’s mutual respect,” James said, “but their interactions often appear more polite than sensual. Most of the poses are likely driven by photographers’ requests. When their children are present, the flirtation disappears.”
James even compared their behavior to that of The Naked Gun 33⅓ co-stars Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley, who also played up a romantic dynamic to promote their 1994 film.
“Liam and Pamela’s body language seems like a deliberate nod to the original,” James explained. “From Pamela placing her hand on Liam’s chest (a typical gesture of possession) to her glancing at the camera while he mimics Nielsen’s classic ‘hard stare,’ it all feels like an intentional throwback.”
Despite their close proximity and shared smiles, James noted that their physical contact remained “utterly polite,” with torsos often kept apart, a sign that the flirtation may be more calculated than candid.
Still, fans are rooting for the connection to be real. The duo look great together, and their mutual admiration is genuine. During an appearance on Loose Women, Anderson credited their natural chemistry with helping ease her nerves on set.
“I felt insecure at first, but once the butterflies went away, we just clicked,” she said. Asked whether they bonded off-camera, she replied: “We spent so much time together, a kind of natural chemistry happens. I don’t know if it always does, but we were lucky.”
That bond extended to the kitchen, too. Neeson, a longtime fan of Anderson’s home-baked sourdough, praised her culinary talents. “Pamela’s a fantastic cook,” he told Loose Women. “She made me sourdough bread that was stunning.”
As The Naked Gun reboot gears up for its August 1 release, the question remains: is this the start of a real-life romance or just expert marketing?
For Neeson, a real relationship would mark his first public romance since the tragic loss of his wife, actress Natasha Richardson, in 2009. Whether art is imitating life (or vice versa), fans will be watching closely.

An intimacy coordinator had to step away from Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson as the pair's sex scenes together were allegedly "too hot".
Liam, 73, is set to star in The Naked Gun, alongside Pamela, 58, with the movie to be released in early August.
Just last year, Liam had admitted to People that he was "madly in love" with Pamela as he sang her praises.
He explained: "I'm madly in love with her. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film."
The admiration is clearly mutual as Pamela called Liam “the perfect gentleman,” adding: “He brings out the best in you … with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
She also shared how she would show her appreciation behind the scenes, baking him bread and cookies and leaving them in his dressing room.
“[He] sincerely looked after me — wrapped his coat around me when I was cold,” she revealed.
And it turns out that the pair had a pretty steamy time on the set of the reimagining of the comedy classic.
Liam admitted that while he and Pamela did have an intimacy coordinator on set, they ended up leaving the room as things got so hot between the pair.
He explained: "I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'OK! Excuse me!'"
Liam revealed that she ended up leaving, telling the stars: "I can't take this! This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee."
Fans' hopes of a real-life romance were also sparked recently when Pamela was seen giving Liam a kiss on the cheek on the red carpet, but sadly the Baywatch babe shut them down in a recent interview.
Pamela told Entertainment Weekly: "I think I have a friend forever in Liam. And we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy."
She added: "Our chemistry was clear from the start. We have the utmost respect for one another.
"I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming.
"I'm hoping people love it. We had so much fun making it. I think it's timely for a beloved comedy like this. I'm a fan of the originals. As Liam says, 'We could all use a good giggle.' I pray we do more."

Pamela Anderson has finally lifted the lid on her whirlwind romance with The Naked Gun co-star Liam Neeson - and yes, the rumors were true.
The former Baywatch star and the Taken actor had tongues wagging last summer after fans noticed their undeniable chemistry both on and off screen.
The pair filmed the reboot of the slapstick crime comedy together from May through June, playing a pair of crime-fighting lovers. But it turns out their onscreen spark wasn’t just great acting.
“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming,” Anderson told PEOPLE.
After filming wrapped, Anderson and Neeson, 73, enjoyed what the 58-year-old described as “an intimate week” at his countryside home in upstate New York.
And while the setting sounds like a romantic movie in itself, she was quick to clarify the trip wasn’t as steamy as fans might assume.
“I had my own room,” she emphasized. “Our assistants both came; even family stopped by.”
Still, the duo embraced their short time together like a scene straight out of a rom-com. Among their outings was a cozy dinner at a tiny French restaurant, where Anderson says Neeson introduced her to staff as “the future Mrs. Neeson.”
Their countryside rendezvous even came with some surreal moments - like Anderson tending to Neeson’s overgrown rosebush. “I tended to a rosebush overgrown with mint,” she joked. “I was happy to help, and he appreciated.”
And in a scene straight out of Northern Exposure, Neeson reportedly had to chase a bear away from the kitchen window in his bathrobe.
Despite the “real feelings” and cozy vibes, the pair never pursued a full-blown relationship. Both stars had busy film schedules ahead of them, and ultimately decided to go their separate ways professionally and personally.
“We went our separate ways to work on other films,” Anderson confirmed.
But their chemistry didn’t fade entirely. The duo reunited months later to promote The Naked Gun reboot, setting off more speculation with affectionate red carpet poses and playful gestures.
At one event, Anderson was even caught applying her Sonsie lip balm to Neeson’s lips during a TV appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen - a viral moment fans couldn’t get enough of.
“We were having fun,” Anderson admitted, describing their connection as “a little bit like a Nancy Meyers film.”
She also pushed back on any suggestion that their closeness was just a publicity stunt. “A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.”
Despite the brief nature of their romantic connection, Anderson made it clear her affection for Neeson runs deep.
“I adore Liam, but we are better friends, in full honesty.”
Anderson revealed that the last time they saw each other was in August, when Neeson surprised her by showing up at her stage performance in Camino Real at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
“He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me,” she gushed. “I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives.”

As Pamela Anderson wraps up one of the biggest comeback years of her career, the 58-year-old star is opening up about a headline-making relationship she has never fully addressed – her unexpected, whirlwind romance with The Naked Gun co-star Liam Neeson.
The actor, 72, appeared alongside Anderson in the summer blockbuster, sparking immediate speculation about their chemistry both on and off the screen. Now, for the first time, Anderson is setting the record straight.
In her new PEOPLE cover story, Anderson says the rumors were true: she and Neeson became romantically involved, but not during filming. “If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while, but only after we finished filming,” she explains.
According to Anderson, the pair spent what she describes as “an intimate week” at Neeson’s home in upstate New York. Though they were romantically connected, she emphasizes that the visit wasn’t a traditional couple’s getaway. “I had my own room,” she says, adding that both of their assistants joined them. “Even family stopped by.”
During their time together, Anderson says the pair fell into an unexpectedly cozy routine. They visited a small French restaurant where Neeson introduced her as “the future Mrs. Neeson,” a moment she recalls with a mix of humor and affection.

At his country home, she even did a bit of gardening. “I tended to a rosebush overgrown with mint,” she says. “I was happy to help, and he appreciated it.”
One moment in particular has stayed with her: Neeson, wearing nothing but his bathrobe, chasing a bear away from the kitchen window during breakfast.
Anderson describes the week as “romantic” but also surreal, noting that both returned to their respective film commitments shortly after. “We went our separate ways to work on other films,” she says.
The pair reunited months later during the promotional tour for The Naked Gun, where they were seen exchanging affectionate gestures. Anderson even applied her Sonsie lip balm to Neeson’s lips during an appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, a moment that went viral among fans.
“We were having fun,” Anderson says, likening their dynamic to the effortless charm of a Nancy Meyers movie. She laughs at accusations that their public closeness was a publicity ploy. “A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.”
Although Anderson says they ultimately realized they were better as friends, she still holds enormous affection for Neeson. They last saw each other in August, when Neeson surprised her by attending her performance in Tennessee Williams’ Camino Real at the Williamstown Theater Festival.
“He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me,” Anderson says. “I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives.”
