Over the last few years, 36-year-old Rodrigo Alves has been on a quest to transform himself into the most beautiful version of himself. His seemingly unrelenting desire to change his look and go under the knife earned him the nickname, 'The Human Ken Doll'.
But earlier this year, Alves, of São Paulo, Brazil, revealed in an interview with the MailOnline that he didn't think his body could handle any more surgery. He made the following comments back in March after undergoing yet another surgery for the "perfect" chin:
"I hope that this was my last surgery my body just can’t take it anymore. I just can’t help the fact that I had an infection which deformed my chin. Yesterday was my first day out and about after having the OP on Saturday. My face is very swollen still, I am struggling to eat and to drink. Liquid just goes everywhere."
Will Alves' quest for the perfect body ever end?

(That being said, he also claimed to be done with plastic surgery "for a few years" after undergoing his 11th rhinoplasty a month prior.)
But here we are, less than eight months later, and Alves is back on our screens and undergoing what could be his most daring surgery to date.
Taking part in a German TV documentary, Roddy, the 36-year-old has undergone a procedure that has seen his infamous 'fake six-pack' removed and inserted into his backside - resulting in a peachier posterior.

Speaking to the MailOnline, Alves revealed: "Eight years ago I had a procedure done in Brazil called Abdominal Etching, which gives me the fake six-pack. As much as people thought that it was amazing I don't think that it passed on the right message since I didn’t work out for it I just paid for it.
"Also, the six-pack didn’t match the rest of my body and started to look a bit silly!"

His words, not mine. Recalling the procedure, Alves detailed just how his surgeon - Dr Serkan Balta - was able to sculpt a new butt: "In order to erase the six-pack, Dr Serkan Balta from Comfort Zone Istanbul performed a five-hour liposuction removing the six-pack and 3/5 liters worth of fat from my belly and back.

"I see all my plastic surgeries as an evolution of me as a person! I never wanted to look like a Ken Doll or to be a Ken Doll. I just wanted to be unique and to show the world that in life anything is possible.
"Also, I wanted to show people that we don’t have to live forever with a look that we were born with and feel unhappy about for the rest of our lives."
Rodrigo has even had some of his RIBS removed:

But now that the reality star is closer to 40 than 30, he is starting the reevaluate his life, and the many surgeries he has endured over the years. Alves - who underwent his first plastic surgery at the age of 17 -stated:
"At the age that I am now, 36, I see the world differently. I am still changing - not just aesthetically but inside."

Rodrigo Alves has undergone over 50 plastic surgeries and 100 cosmetic procedures to look like a human Ken doll. This includes dangerous rib removal surgery, in which four ribs were removed from his torso to attain a more "elegant and classic figure." Originally, the 35-year-old wanted six ribs removed, but the doctors feared compromising his lungs. As of this writing, he has spent over $650,000 on plastic surgery.
These outrageous procedures made Alves an internet sensation, and this season he joined the cast of the UK's Celebrity Big Brother. (Apparently, they're using the word "celebrity" very loosely.) On the 22nd season premiere, Alves shocked viewers, but not just because of his looks. While talking to some housemates, he casually dropped the N-word, one of the most offensive racial slurs in the English language.

According to media watchdog Ofcom, in the five days since the episode aired, more than 1,000 viewers filed complaints. Viewers were outraged, and called for the 'Human Ken Doll' to be removed from the show. On social media, some fans pointed out precedent: In 2007, contestant Emily Parr used the N-word in a conversation with housemates, and was evicted, just five days into the program. Why not Rodrigo Alves?

Alves used the N-word to describe the type of romantic partners he preferred. When confronted about his behavior, he claimed that he was drunk. The CBB producer cut him off, rightly stating that being drunk is no excuse for saying racial slurs.
However, Channel 5 bosses stopped short of kicking the 'Human Ken Doll' out of the Barbie Dream House. Instead, they issued the reality star a "final warning:" If he repeats the offensive language again, he's toast.

Speaking on Rylan Clark-Neal’s Bit On The Side, reality Tv personality Chloe Ferry defended Alves. "I think he’s a very nice person," said the Geordie Shore star, "and I feel like he didn’t mean to say it. I really really like him and I honestly, genuinely think he didn’t mean to say it."
Regardless of the intent, Alves faced a massive social media backlash. Twitter users criticized CBB's double standards, swore they were done watching the program, and pointed out how casually Alves used the disgusting slur, as if it were part of his everyday vocabulary. (And of course, a few people took potshots at his extreme plastic surgery.)

Hours after uttering the N-word, Alves claimed he "empowers" by getting cosmetic procedures: "In life, you have the freedom to be whoever you want to be, to do whatever you want to do, as long as you don't cause harm to other people or to yourself and do what is right for you."
Well, it's hard to disagree with that message. I suppose you have the freedom to say the N-word on national television as well, but that doesn't mean you have freedom from the consequences. We'll have to wait and see how long he stays on the show, and how much his body continues to change, compared to what he looked like as a teenager.

With more than 70 operations behind him now, fans of Rodrigo Alves thought he'd never stop getting surgery.
But it seems Mother Nature has thrown a spanner in the works, with the 35-year-old - otherwise known as 'Human Ken Doll' - reportedly fearful that his body can't handle any more.
In a new interview, the social media star opened up about getting a new implant fitted on his chin a few weeks ago. To his horror, he had woken up after the operation to find a permanent dent had appeared and has been forced to get corrective surgery to fix it.
Speaking to the MailOnline, he admitted that he was struggling to eat and drink after catching the infection that deformed his chin and hoped that this was his last surgery.
"'I hope that this was my last surgery my body just can’t take it anymore," he said. "I just can’t help the fact that I had an infection which deformed my chin. Yesterday was my first day out and about after having the OP on Saturday. My face is very swollen still, I am struggling to eat and to drink. Liquid just goes everywhere."
Refusing to slow down though, Rodrigo showed off his now-remodelled "beautiful, perfect" chin at the Mercedes-Benz fashion show, where he posed for cameras in an attention-grabbing blue suit.
Talking further about his new look, he revealed: "I had a massive chin makeover with Dr Ali Mezdegi at Comfort Zone. My chin is absolutely perfect now it is small at a V-shape. The surgeon did a very fine and sophisticated job."
This is not the first time Alves has claimed that he's "done" with plastic surgery, though. In February, he said he was finished with it "for the next few years" after undergoing his 11th nose job.
Appearing on British talk show This Morning, he said: "If I was a smoker or had an illness, it would be a risk or a danger. I'm done with plastic surgery for the next few years and if I need to have surgery I can, my entire body has been modified."
In the same interview, he told hosts, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, that his nose job was an important one, because it had unblocked his nose and gave him back his sense of taste after four years of struggling.
"Now I can breathe, I had my nose done for the 11th time," he said. "It's been four years. I was living with my nose blocked. It's like having a constant cold, not being able to taste food or wine. My nose was a dead organ. I caught a bacterial infection. I had to wait all this time."

Demonstrating he could now close his eyes, seven days after undergoing his fifth Canthopexy eye-lift surgery - which was intended to make him look like a "sexy cat" - he also explained he felt he wasn't getting "any younger".
"For the first two days I couldn't close my eyes properly," he said. "I'll close my eyes now. I'm tender everywhere. Yes, I've also put on some weight. I heal quickly. The procedure is not very popular. It's a type of eye-lift. I've had five eye-lifts. I'm 35 years old and I'm not getting any younger. Your eyes drop. Most people get this look adding eyeliner and mascara."
Despite all of the dangerous surgery he had undergone, Rodrigo insisted that he was "healthy" though, stating, "Plastic surgeons only perform on healthy people. I'm so healthy. I have lots of blood tests. I'm a very healthy person."
So, after all these recent complications, will we be seeing Human Ken Doll back in the operating room anytime soon? Let's hope not!
