An expert has finally revealed the secrets that men have been searching for since the dawn of time: how to make your penis bigger.
Dr Rena Malik, who specialises in the urinary and reproductive systems with expertise in sexual medicine and hormone health, made an appearance on Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett’s podcast, Diary of a CEO.
She explained, among other ways to improve your sex life, how to increase penis size long-term.
There are several holistic and medically aided ways to lengthen and strengthen the genitalia, alongside products and lifestyle changes that help the process.
Dr Malik first mentioned traditional pump and vacuum devices, which, while they create swelling for better erections, “do not produce lasting length or girth gains”.
Other more effective contraptions include traction devices, deemed by the healthcare professional as the safest and most efficient non-surgical option.
Studies have proved that modern penis extending devices can add around 1–2 cm in length if used consistently, for around 30 minutes twice a day.
Older devices required much more time to achieve the same results, having to be worn for a painstaking six to eight hours a day, causing considerable discomfort.
Lifestyle changes and weight loss are also recommended by Dr Malik to help the appearance of a penis. She said that one of the “easiest free ways to make the penis appear longer is by reducing the fat pad that buries part of the base.
The sex expert also shared the results of a new study that shows men who ate 100g of pistachios every day saw a significant decrease in erectile dysfunction. Having regular erections is, according to Dr Malik, essential to maintaining your penis length as you age because, without regular blood flow, it will lose muscle and slowly shrink.
While it does not grow any tissue or technically add any inches, the visible length will reportedly improve, while confidence and the frequency of erections will increase.
Like most other aesthetic insecurities, more extreme methods, including injections and surgeries, can be used to increase penis size. However, throughout the episode, Dr Malik tries to steer men away from the latter option as she has seen many “bad outcomes” and men “disfigured forever”.
She notes that these medical methods carry serious risks such as scarring, deformity and loss of function, so are “not recommended purely for cosmetic enlargement in men with normal-sized penises.”
