A restaurant server has gone viral on social media after expressing her anger at customers who sat at a table for six hours and only left a 10 percent tip.
The server, Kristina Withers, who goes by the handle @krisswith on TikTok, posted a two-minute video explaining her annoyance at the unidentified customers.
In the video, she said the customers were at the restaurant before she even got to work at 5:30 PM, and that her colleague, who had gotten to work at 3:30 PM, had already served them and cashed them out.
"They were fine, they were chilling," Kristina said of the couple that was at the restaurant before her shift. "They were good to go. Cashed out, no worries."
Watch Withers' TikTok below:By 7 PM - three hours after they had been cashed out - the customers came up to the server and asked her who is in charge of their table because they wanted to order drinks and dinner.
By that time, Kristina's coworker had finished her shift, and so the TikToker became their new server.
The woman said during her shift, each of the customers got a drink, a taco plate, and then ordered another drink at 8 PM. She said that the couple was the last customers in the restaurant - even when it was set to close at 10 PM.
"The best part though, the very best part? They didn’t even tip 20%," Kristina said. "They were my only table. Like I know I was giving them great service - probably overly good service because, again, they were my only table."
Kristina insisted that she gave them excellent service, but despite that, the customers only tipped her 10% for the six hours they spent.
"So if you’re going to go sit in a restaurant for six f***ing hours, there should be like a f***ing table fee. $5 [per] f***ing hour if you’re sitting there not drinking and not buying anything," she said in aggravation. "It’s a f***ing joke."
The server's video amassed 5132 likes and 40.3K views on the social media platform, with many viewers saying they understood Kristina's frustration.
Some people couldn’t fathom why the customers felt comfortable sitting inside a restaurant for six hours - and then only tipping a small amount.
One user was baffled and wrote: "Wth who [sits] at a restaurant for 6 hours?"
Another commented that senior staff members should've gotten involved: "This was a manager fail. they should have been told to leave way sooner."
A third user questioned: "I want the entitled broke people who refuse to tip to try and justify how you can waste a server’s time for 6 hours and only tip 10 percent."
Lastly, a fourth user shared a similar experience and wrote: This happened to me when I was serving, two ladies sat for HOURS and left a dollar in coins."
Well, it looks like many people are bemused by the couple's restaurant conduct. What do you guys think? Comment down below!

A waitress has gone viral on social media after revealing that she has used the "shaming" technique currently going viral on social media in order to get customers to tip her more.
TikTok user Tamela - who goes by the handle @tamela.anderson on the social media platform - posted a video of herself confirming that the "shaming" method works for getting better tips - especially from rude customers.
In her video, Tamela explains spoke about her experience serving two men once. She recalled that one of the men paid for the entire bill in cash but only provided a few dollars - accounting for 10% to 15% of the check - as a tip.
Check out her TikTok below:However, as she was collecting the man's payment, he made an unwarranted remark about her appearance and said "I've never been a fan of blondes." She then replied: "You know, I don’t really like s***ty tippers."
After her blunt reply, Tamela said the customer added another $10 bill.
Tamela's video garnered a lot of attention from users on the platform. The video has been viewed over 720,000 times and has more than 133,000 likes. However, users of the social media platform were divided over the method.
Some applauded the waitress for her snappy comeback and acknowledged that service workers don’t get paid enough for their work.
One user said: "People that are against you or complaining about your behavior clearly [have] never worked as a server, y’all get real." Another user added: "That’s honestly fair because he came for you first lol."
A third commented: "Unexpected reactions yield unpredictable results."
While other users had questions about Tamela's approach and the principles behind "shaming" customers to receive tips greater than 15% - which many consider the standard tip amount.
One user wrote: "Maybe servers should shame their bosses into paying them a livable wage so they don’t have to depend on tips."
Another chimed in and said: "Tips are a gratuity and not owed. Shaming anyone for a tip is crazy and unprofessional."
A third asked: "10-15% isn’t a good tip? What is?"
A few people under Tamela's comment section asked her to reiterate what she meant when she stated that she no longer felt the need to try and put on a "waitress persona" for her customers.
In a follow-up video, the waitress clarified the misunderstanding and explained that she wasn't being "overly nice" or "using a fake voice" with customers.
Tamela added: "If men are gonna be making inappropriate comments to me, I’m just gonna start making inappropriate comments back to them."
Sounds fair to me!

A waiter was left in disbelief after a popular TikToker surprised him with a $1,000 dollar tip.
Lexy Burke is known on the platform for raising money from her followers to go towards hefty tips for deserving wait staff. And a recent video of hers has gone viral due to the server's very heartwarming reaction to receiving an eye-watering tip.
The short clip is captioned: "Because of y'all we got to surprise Al with $1000, wait 'til you see his reaction."
Check out the sweet video here:In the video, Lexy asks the server what his Venmo account name is so that she can transfer him the money for the tip, which her followers had pitched in to help raise.
The unsuspecting waiter, most likely thinking the tip was a standard 15-20%, then grabs his phone so the generous diner can make the Venmo transfer.
Moments after the transfer is made, the waiter realizes it was no ordinary tip and had personally received a sizable lump sum for his pocket alone. Grateful to Lexy, he tells her how much the gesture means to him and gives her a hug.
The post has since racked up over 2 million views, 390,000 likes, and more than 3,000 comments at the time of writing.
Needless to say, plenty of Lexy's followers were touched by the incredibly kind gesture, with one person taking to the comments to write: "Yess I love how you do Venmo payments so the restaurant owners can't force the server to split the tip."
Another wrote: "Amazing what 1000$ can do for one person. If only there was enough money to go around."
While a third said: "Omg you can tell by the hug he needed it. My heart!!!!!"
Meanwhile, another commented: "The way he got down and hugged you. Wow, I felt that."
A final person shared: "Please NEVER stop these. You're so amazing every single time! Thank you for letting them know it's not from you & from your followers. We love u! [sic]"

Social media users have praised a Hooters waitress after she shared the way in which she took revenge on creepy customers who were allegedly taking pictures of her without her permission.
Taking to TikTok, Hooters waitress Lydia Warren posted a video exposing a group of men who she claimed were discretely taking snaps of her while she was trying to work.
In the clip, she explained how two men specifically were taking pictures of her before switching the camera around to show their faces stating, "This guy wants to come into Hooters and just take pictures of girls without asking.
"Well, I'm going to make you uncomfortable too. We all uncomfortable now [sic]," she continued.
"Yeah, my flash on [sic]," she added. "We all uncomfortable now [sic]."
At first, you can see both men turn to each other and start whispering before turning back to the camera, one with a sheepish grin on his face while the other just continued to stare with a seemingly blank look on his face.
In the caption she doubled down on her stance writing: "Now everyone feels weird," before adding the hashtags: "Do Better" and "Public Shame."
The video, which has now been viewed over three million times, attracted a whole host of social media users who commended the waitress for her response.
"That's my girl," wrote one user while another added: "Why he scared now lol."
A third user emphasized that "the boys got your back on this too."
And the comments didn't stop there.
Another TikToker thought the use of the flash was clearly a nice touch.
Someone else who has seemingly experienced similar things wrote: "Girl yes! I worked there for 10 years! Expose them!"
However, others took to the comment section to antagonize the waitress with one person even suggesting that they "don't need permission to take pictures".
Another tried to spin the narrative that "maybe he just liked your outfit".
Of course, we're all well aware of the uniform that Hooters supplies workers with, though that is no excuse to invade someone's privacy by taking personal photos of them when they're just trying to do their job.
Thankfully those users were savagely shut down by other TikTokers.
The news comes after other Hooters waitresses have come forward with their experiences with rude customers.
Last year, TikToker @keylamxo, told her followers "Here’s one of the many times that a customer made me cry while I worked at Hooters" after a customer left an abusive message on a $600 bill.
Right from the get-go, the waitress was subjected to a bad attitude by the entire party that came along with the customer in question.
Not only were they messy, spraying ketchup all over the table and spilling their drinks, but when Keylamxo checked the bill, she saw that instead of leaving a tip on the considerable amount, she was left a message reading: "F*** You", along with a drawing of a middle finger.
It's simply unacceptable.
Here's my advice: If you don't know how to behave in public and treat people with basic human decency, don't go out.

A disgruntled restaurant worker has taken to TikTok to express her frustration at a group of customers who did a sneaky dine and dash... or so they thought, as the smart perps apparently forgot a pair of glasses in the process.
The video was uploaded by Jessica Guevara late last week, who captioned the post: "Hope those were $125 dollars [sic]" - in an apparent reference to just how much the group of girls had racked up on their restaurant bill.
In the viral upload, in which Don Omar's 'Danza Kuduro' can be heard pumping in the background, Guevara says: "To the girls that ran out, and didn't pay their tab," before holding up a pair of black-rimmed aviator glasses.
"You left your glasses, b***h," she added.
Check out the video below:The video then cuts to another clip of Guevara throwing the glasses to the ground and stomping on them with her foot, completely smashing the glass and breaking the frames in half in the process.
The post has since amassed more than 60,000 likes, with people in Guevara's comments section quickly becoming fired up. Hundreds of TikTokers voiced their support for her response to the dumb practice, which can often have costly effects on hospitality workers - especially those who rely on tips.
One user hilariously commented: "I may (or may not) have run someone's expensive cell phone through the dishwasher in a similar situation…"
While another wrote: "How did she see her way home? [sic]" in reference to the girl who might be missing her glasses. Guevara simply replied to that comment with: "I'm so done [crying laughing emoji]."
"Lmao now she's gonna have to use the money she didn't have for the tab plus more [sic]," someone else added.
Another comment seemed to embody the shared consensus on Guevara's actions: "All I have to say is... you go girl. I don't blame you one bit!"
The group of girls unfortunately left the restaurant short-changed, which can usually mean that the server has to foot the bill from their own paycheck and misses out on their tip - in the US, this amounts to between 15% - 25%.
One user highlighted this tough industry practice, commenting: "I was a server for years. We'd have to pay the tab if the customers left without paying. It's not right. I am glad karma is a b***h though [sic]."
Some of the video's commenters even suggested Guevara should have kept the glasses and just sold them.
Regardless of the outcome, let's hope Guevara's TikTok serves as a lesson to future diners and dashers - because what goes around, comes around... and karma always finds a way!
