Buckingham Palace has launched an investigation into claims that Meghan Markle bullied royal staff.
The announcement comes just days before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's interview with Oprah Winfrey is due to premiere in America.
Palaces aides confirmed their investigation after a complaint email was leaked to The Times newspaper last week, containing accusations that Meghan bullied royal staff while she and Harry were living in Kensington Palace in October 2018.
The leaked email alleges that Meghan drove two personal assistants out of the household with her behavior, and seriously undermined the confidence of a third member of staff.
Per BBC News, a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace has since stated:
"We are clearly very concerned about allegations in the Times following claims made by former staff of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
"Accordingly, our HR team will look into the circumstances outlined in the article. Members of staff involved at the time, including those who have left the Household, will be invited to participate to see if lessons can be learned.
"The Royal Household has had a Dignity at Work policy in place for a number of years and does not and will not tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace."
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Meghan stated:
"The duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.
"She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good."

These statements have come ahead of Meghan and Harry's highly-publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey, which airs on CBS on Sunday, March 7, and on Monday, March 8 in the United Kingdom.
Per BBC News, CBS claims that the interview will deal with Meghan's issues "stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood" and "how she is handling life under intense public pressure".
Oprah will then proceed to discuss Megan and Harry's move to the United States and their plans for charitable works in the future.
