A 25-year-old married teacher in Georgia is facing new allegations in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of six teenagers at the high school where she worked. Maris Nichols, who was arrested in May, is now the subject of newly filed court papers that contain disturbing details about her alleged conduct with students at Alexander High School in Douglasville.
According to search warrants seen by Fox, Nichols was allegedly recorded having sex with a student while wearing a "Jesus Loves You" sweater. The documents also allege that she was being blackmailed by some students who had discovered she maintained an OnlyFans page and threatened to expose it in exchange for better grades in her class.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office issued warrants to OnlyFans, Snapchat, AT&T, and a number of students and their families as part of its investigation. Authorities also sought medical records after learning that Nichols had previously received treatment for mental health issues, the court papers alleged.
Warrants previously seen by the Daily Mail allege that Nichols instructed one female victim to watch the R-rated Fifty Shades of Grey movies. The documents also claim she had sex with a student in the backseat of his truck at a local golf club on May 3.
Prosecutors say she sent explicit text messages, nude photos, and videos of herself using sex toys to several teens, including two under the age of 16.
Nichols, who has a child, was taken into custody on a $74,000 bond after her initial arrest in early May. She was charged with having sex with a student in a school closet on April 23 and again in a vehicle off school grounds on May 2. After her first arrest, she was released on a $40,000 bail.
The Douglas County School System addressed parents following the allegations. "Student safety is the district's highest priority. The alleged behavior is unacceptable and violates the professional standards all employees are required to uphold," the district said. An internal investigation has been launched.
A concerned local mother previously told WSB-TV that the allegations were "heartbreaking." Parents told 11 Alive that their students received very little instruction from Nichols in class and worry their children will fall behind academically.
"We're not asking for special treatment. We are asking for transparency, accountability, and fairness," an anonymous parent told the outlet. "Unfortunately, our concerns have repeatedly been met with resistance, limited communication, and a lack of meaningful reassurance that appropriate measures are being taken to protect all children involved, including our own."
Nichols faces several charges, including child molestation, improper sexual contact by an employee, grooming of a minor for a sexual offense, and tampering with evidence.

A 25-year-old high school teacher has been arrested after being accused of having sex with six of her students. According to court documents, Maris Nichols was also blackmailed about students who knew she ran an OnlyFans account.
According to documents obtained by WSB-TV, students who knew about Nichols' OnlyFans account reportedly blackmailed her for better grades.
Initially, Nichols was charged with sexually assaulting a student in a classroom closet and a car last month, but she was rearrested two weeks later and received 11 new charges.
The accusations now involve five new alleged victims, and the new charges include child molestation, evidence tampering, and grooming.
The charges against Nichols, who was both a science teacher and the operations manager for the school’s football team, have painted a predatory picture of a teacher who used her authority to coerce a vulnerable person.
Allegedly, Nichols initiated the first encounter in a cramped supply closet on April 23.
Then, the second incident allegedly occurred in May on a Douglasville driveway, where Nichols reportedly met the student inside a car.
Other claims that have come to light following search warrants include evidence that the young biology teacher sent inappropriate images to students.
Reportedly, she even used a sex toy during calls with at least two teens under the age of 16.
Allegedly, the teacher also described her sexual fantasies to the children in great detail, telling them she wanted to be “choked, screamed at, slapped, and whipped”.
According to cops, Nichols allegedly told one teenager to delete the messages they exchanged and lie if quizzed on sexual abuse.
At least four of the students attended Alexander High School in Georgia, where the science teacher had worked since 2023.
In the aftermath of her arrest, the school suspended Nichols, launched an investigation, and deleted her profile from its website.
Addressing parents in a letter after the first arrest, the Douglas County School System said: “Upon learning of the alleged misconduct, the district immediately launched an investigation.
“Student safety is the district’s highest priority.
“The alleged behavior is unacceptable and violates the professional standards all employees are required to uphold.”

A young biology teacher allegedly had a number of illicit encounters with a student, one taking place inside a school closet.
Maris Nichols, 25, who was both a science teacher and the operations manager for the school’s football team, was arrested on two counts of sexual assault.
The charges against her have painted a predatory picture of a teacher who used her authority to coerce a vulnerable person.
Allegedly, Nichols initiated the first encounter in a cramped supply closet on April 23.
Then, the second incident occurred in May on a Douglasville driveway, where Nichols reportedly met the student inside a car.
As news of the arrest spread, frustration among the parent body sparked families of children who attend Alexander High School to raise a case of professional negligence against the school.
One parent suggested, "No biology was being taught."
Another added that the classroom has become a 'lawless zone,' saying: "My kid hasn't opened a textbook in a month.”
In a statement, a spokesperson for the Douglas County School System said: "The trust between a teacher and a student is sacred.
"That trust was not just broken here; it was demolished.
“Student safety is the district’s highest priority.
"The alleged behavior is unacceptable and violates the professional standards all employees are required to uphold.”
However, it is currently unknown if Nichols is still employed by the school.
Nichols, who is reportedly married with a daughter, has been released on a $40,000 bail, with strict conditions ruling that she cannot contact minors and is legally prohibited from setting foot on school property.
Upcoming court hearings will focus on whether school officials missed "red flags" in the biology classroom.
An anonymous parent told 11 Alive: “We’re not asking for special treatment. We are asking for transparency, accountability, and fairness.
“Unfortunately, our concerns have repeatedly been met with resistance, limited communication, and a lack of meaningful reassurance that appropriate measures are being taken to protect all children involved, including our own.”

New disturbing texts between a US teacher who was convicted of sexual misconduct and the 17-year-old boy she was sleeping with have been uncovered.
McKenna Kindred, 28, was charged with first-degree sexual misconduct and inappropriate communication with a minor, following her arrest in April 2023.
She would plead guilty to both charges, as the teacher admitted to sneaking the student into the apartment, which she shared with her husband.
The teacher was based in Spokane, Washington, at the time, and despite the case, she is still with her partner.
While McKenna wasn't given jail time, she must register as a sex offender for ten years, while also serving a year of probation and a two-year suspended sentence.
New messages have now resurfaced, over two years on from the teacher's sentencing, back in April 2024.
McKenna's texts to the 17-year-old featured several inappropriate claims, and more claims have unravelled recently.
The Daily Mail has discovered more details about her crimes via a records request made to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office.
One of these involved the teacher admitting that her husband, Kyle Kindred, warned her about her "hot" looks and how they may cause issues at work.
She also complained about her husband, who is still living with her, in detail.
When asked by the student if her husband got "mad" at her, the teacher replied: "Haha not like mad mad, more like 'you need to be careful. You're hot and kids know it and you can get in trouble if you're not careful,'" according to police records.
This would come to the fore in November 2022, with the teacher have a "sex marathon" with the 17-year-old in question, in her marital bed while Kyle was away on a hunting trip out of town.
The teenager's mother would report the sexual encounter to the police just one month after it unfolded.
McKenna sent many texts to the boy, a student at Central Valley High School, about her husband.
The police files revealed that she complained to the teen about her bad mood, writing: "I'm not grumpy till he gets home. So you help me more than you know."
She then went on to explain a petty argument she'd had with Kyle that took place once he arrived home, telling him she was glad she was being "pleasant tonight and not grumpy with me."
Apparently, she and Kyle argued until he suggested that they go to Wendy's for dinner, as she wrote: "So we got there and I said 'don't order yet, I don't know what I want', and then he started ordering and so then he was like 'what do you want?'
"And I said 'I have no clue! I said wait a minute', and he said 'okay drama, what do you want', then I said 'nothing, I'll eat something at home.'"
She ended up going home without eating, according to the texts.

Newly uncovered text messages have revealed the disturbing and inappropriate relationship between McKenna Kindred, a married high school teacher, and a 17-year-old student from Spokane, Washington.
The relationship, which began after months of flirtatious online exchanges, culminated in a sexual encounter in November 2022 at Kindred's home while her husband, Kyle Kindred, was away on a hunting trip.
The explicit messages exchanged between Kindred, who was 25 at the time, and the teen provide details of their relationship.
In one message, Kindred wrote (via the Daily Mail): “I was sad when you had to leave my room… when other girls talk about you in my class I could feel myself getting mad.” She also told the youngster, “I really like being touched by you.”
In another, she messaged the boy: “We almost got caught. I was sad when that student walked in when he did. I wanted you to hold me. I really like being touched by you.”
The teen messaged her saying, “Mom glad I can satisfy you.” Prosecutors say Kindred “liked” the message.
He also asked whether she had used a sex toy while thinking about him, and she replied: “I did.”
When the boy said she should have recorded it so he could watch later, Kindred is said to have responded: “Hm next time I need to relearn Snapchat haha.”
These texts were discovered after the boy's friend reportedly accessed his Instagram account and found the conversations.
Screenshots were shared with a teacher, who then contacted the authorities, sparking an investigation.
The teen later detailed the encounter to police, stating that he arrived at Kindred's home between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
They began by watching a movie and kissing, before progressing to sexual activity. He explained that they first had intercourse on the couch for about 10 minutes, before moving to Kindred’s bedroom, where they continued until around 10:00 p.m.
After showering and hanging out, the teen left at around 11:30 p.m. Authorities believe this was the only sexual encounter between the pair.
Further evidence surfaced when the boy's mother, Ashley Beckley, provided investigators with explicit photos and videos exchanged between her son and Kindred.
This included images of Kindred sending her son pictures of her breasts and a message in which she discussed using a sex toy.
The mother also informed police about a disturbing text where Kindred admitted to using a toy while thinking about the boy.
While Washington law permits consensual sexual activity at the age of 16, authority figures like teachers can still be charged with sexual misconduct when they engage in sexual activity with minors under 18.
Kindred was arrested in December 2022 and later confessed to first-degree sexual misconduct.
In March 2024, she pleaded guilty to amended charges of second-degree sexual misconduct with a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.
In her emotional court statement, Kindred expressed deep regret for her actions. “I am truly sorry for my actions. I know that this past year has been enormously stressful for all involved," cited by The Sun.
“As a result of my actions I’ve lost my career, valuable friendships, freedoms and have let down countless people who placed their trust in me," she continued. “My mental health has also been severely affected by this event. I am deeply ashamed of the pain I have caused.”
It was reported that Kindred's husband stood by her and that the pair is still married. According to Daily Mail, property records reveal that the couple moved from Washington to Idaho, where they bought a home near Boise for nearly $500,000 in June 2024, months after her sentencing.
Kindred completed the requirements of her sentence and was formally discharged in May 2025.
She has since voluntarily surrendered her teaching license following an investigation by Idaho’s Professional Standards Commission. It remains unclear whether she is currently employed.

In a case that stunned Spokane, Washington, McKenna Kindred, a former high school teacher, was revealed to have engaged in a sexually inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student.
The relationship, which began in 2022, escalated from online flirtations to a shocking in-person encounter, leading to criminal charges and severe consequences for Kindred.
The inappropriate relationship between McKenna Kindred and the unnamed 17-year-old student started in June 2022.
The teenager found Kindred's Instagram account, and their online interactions quickly grew flirtatious.
What began as seemingly harmless messages soon took a darker turn with sexually explicit exchanges, per the New York Post.
One of the texts exchanged between them read "I wanted you to be in my room," while Kindred further confided, "When other girls talk about you in my class I could feel myself getting mad."
Kindred’s messages also included explicit comments like the horrifying seven word: “I really like being touched by you.”
Later, a confirmation when the student asked if she had used a sex toy while thinking about him: “I did.”
The conversation’s explicit nature escalated over time, with both engaging in increasingly inappropriate discussions.
The online communications grew more explicit as time went on, leading to physical meetings.
Kindred even liked a message the student sent her that said: “Mom glad I can satisfy you.”
In November 2022, with her husband, Kyle Kindred, away on a hunting trip, McKenna invited the student to her home.
The encounter started innocently enough, with the pair watching a movie and kissing.
However, things quickly escalated.
According to the teenager’s testimony, they moved to the bedroom after about 10 minutes, where the sexual activity continued until around 10:00PM.
The two spent time together in the living room and even took a shower before the student left around 11:30PM.
While Washington state law permits consensual sexual activity for individuals aged 16 or older, it criminalizes sexual interactions between teachers and students under 18.
As an authority figure, McKenna's actions were a violation of this law, leading to the criminal investigation that would follow.
The inappropriate relationship didn’t remain a secret for long.
Rumors circulated within the school, and screenshots of the explicit texts were shared among the student's friends, who eventually reported them to school officials.
As the situation gained traction, the boy’s mother, Ashley Beckley, uncovered explicit photos and videos exchanged between Kindred and her son.
Some of the images included Kindred sending pictures of her breasts, and disturbing texts where she admitted using a sex toy while thinking about him.
This revelation led to a full investigation, which eventually resulted in Kindred's arrest.
By December 2022, McKenna Kindred had been arrested.
She pleaded guilty in March 2024 to charges of first-degree sexual misconduct, second-degree sexual misconduct with a minor, and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.
Despite the severity of her actions, Kindred avoided jail time.
Instead, she was sentenced to two years of probation, a $700 fine, and required to register as a sex offender for the next 10 years.
During the court proceedings, Kindred tearfully expressed her regret, stating: "I am truly sorry for my actions.
"I know that this past year has been enormously stressful for all involved... I am deeply ashamed of the pain I have caused."
In addition to her legal penalties, Kindred was forced to surrender her teaching license after an investigation by the Idaho Standards Commission.
