Yolanda Hadid is being criticized by concerned fans of her supermodel daughter Bella.
The 58-year-old former model is being accused of allowing her child to get a nose job at the tender age of 14.
Yolanda rose to fame in 2012 when she began appearing on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Inevitably, her teenage daughters Bella and Gigi both got dragged into the limelight. It wasn't long before the girls became celebrities in their own right, with their own devoted fans.
Today they're considered two of the most famous supermodels in the world, each with millions of followers on social media.
However, Bella - who is now 25 - has recently hit out at the negative pressure she felt due to becoming famous at such a young age. In an interview with Vogue magazine released this week, the reality star turned model spoke about the harsh realities of living in her big sister's shadow and feeling like she needed to change the way she looked.
She also touched upon her much-discussed nose job, which she had when she was 14, and which she says she now regrets. "I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors," she told Vogue, adding: "I think I would have grown into it."
Since the revelation, many fans have taken to social media to call out Dutch-born Yolanda for "allowing" her teenage daughter to go under the knife at such a young age.
One tweeted: "i honestly feel so sad for bella bc she always talks abt how growing up she always felt like a black sheep/outsider in her family while also feeling bad abt herself and for yolanda to basically confirm her thoughts by letting her get a nose job at 14 is so horrible. [sic]"
Another user said: "no [14-year-old] just wants plastic surgery just because, unless they've had a certain feature pointed out so many times to the point that they are insecure."
Meanwhile, others took the opportunity to remind people about another example of Yolanda's parenting style - this time where her elder daughter Gigi was concerned.
"There’s also that time, Yolanda Hadid allowed Gigi to eat junk food on her birthday......., but only on that day," they tweeted alongside a clip of Yolanda restricting her daughter's eating.
