The 1000-Lb Sisters star, 38, has revealed she’s engaged to Andrea Dalton just two months after going public with the relationship, adding another happy chapter to the Slaton family’s whirlwind year.

Tammy let the news slip during an appearance on the Creative Chaos podcast on Tuesday, telling host Hunter Ezell how she and Andrea like to spend their time together: “Me and my fiancée, we just kind of chill at home.”

The revelation caught Ezell off guard: “Hold on, you said fiancée?” prompting Tammy to show off her shiny new engagement ring during the live recording.

Tammy also proudly sported an “Andrea” necklace, later sharing that the couple has actually been together for “around three years.”

The duo, who both live in Kentucky, originally met on a dating app and have “talked every day since.”

It comes just months after Tammy went public with her relationship, telling viewers: “Amy's not the only one that's seeing somebody new. So have I…. I have been seeing someone for the past couple months and it's going pretty well.”

She added: “The person I'm dating is a woman. So I haven't told my family because my family's gonna have something to say about it.

“I think my family probably has more opinions than the world has a**holes because they be farting so much.”

Despite Tammy’s initial nerves about telling her family, her mother voiced support after hearing the news on 1000-Lb Sisters, saying: “If Andrea genuinely cares for Tammy and makes her happy, then I'll be happy with her.”

Tammy’s engagement follows an incredible personal transformation, as the TLC star has lost nearly 500lbs over the past few years.

She weighed 605lbs in 2019, and in a recent episode of 1000-Lb Sisters, it was revealed Tammy now weighs around 250lbs.

After stepping on the scales, Tammy admitted she was “in shock” at the number. In April, she shared she had dropped 500lbs since her highest recorded weight of 725lbs.

“Everybody keeps telling me I'm looking smaller than Amy. That's kind of hard to believe,” she said, referencing her sister’s own weight loss journey.

Tammy’s news comes on the heels of her sister Amy, 37, announcing her engagement to Brian Lovvorn just a few months ago.

Amy revealed Brian initially proposed by slipping a green apple Ring Pop on her finger while she slept, before making the real proposal happen in a haunted house on Halloween.

“He said something about, ‘my love for you is crazy, it's scary how compatible we are’. Just like our matching tattoos say, ‘scary love’,” Amy shared.

Tammy’s engagement also comes two years after the death of her husband Caleb Willingham, who passed away at 40 while staying at the Ohio rehab facility they once attended together.

Following Caleb’s death, Tammy revealed she no longer wanted to date men. “A few years ago I came out as pansexual but after Caleb passing,” she explained, “I just don't want to be with men anymore.

“I don't know how my family's going to react when I tell them I'm seeing a woman.”

Last year, Tammy opened up to People about the moment she learned of Caleb’s passing, recalling how she received a text from his friend saying: “Caleb's not doing good. They're in there working on him.”

Twenty minutes later, the friend texted again to say he was gone.

“I was sitting in the fetal position,” Tammy said of the moment, adding that she finds comfort in wearing a ring and necklace made with Caleb’s ashes.

“He's going to live on now forever because his memory is encapsulated. Knowing that he's with me, it's helping me pass the day.”

She added that watching their old episodes has brought comfort: “Every time I miss him, I can always look back at the show and watch it and see what made me happy again.”
