Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were notably absent from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's lavish wedding celebrations this week, fueling fresh speculation about the reported rift between the former friends.
While A-list guests gathered at Madison Square Garden in New York City for the couple's glamorous rehearsal dinner on Thursday evening, Lively, 38, and Reynolds, 49, were reportedly several hours away, while supporting their six-year-old daughter, Betty, at a horse show in Lake Placid, New York.
Photos obtained by TMZ showed the couple dressed casually as they attended the event.
Their absence has sparked renewed rumours that Swift, 36, has distanced herself from Lively following the actress's legal dispute with Justin Baldoni.
Swift is famously the godmother to Lively and Reynolds' three daughters, James, Inez and Betty, making the reported omission all the more noticeable.
As celebrity guests, including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Jack Antonoff, arrived at Madison Square Garden for the celebration, sources suggested Lively's absence would be difficult to overlook.
One insider previously told the Daily Mail: "Madison Square Garden holds more than 20,000 people. If Blake isn't there, nobody can blame a lack of space."
The source continued: "The guest list is so massive that Blake's absence becomes impossible to ignore. People will notice immediately."
They added: "Taylor could invite practically everyone she's ever known. That's why Blake not getting an invite would speak volumes."
According to the insider, "This isn't about logistics or capacity. If Blake is left off the list, it's personal."
They also claimed: "The bigger the wedding gets, the worse this looks for Blake."
Another source said: "There will be movie stars, athletes, politicians, and music royalty in that arena.
"When Blake isn't among them, that becomes one of the biggest stories of the night, and Taylor knows it."
Since the well-documented feud between Baldoni and Lively, reports have suggested Swift has stepped back from her longtime friendship with Lively, while Kelce reportedly unfollowed Reynolds on Instagram.
Despite the speculation, neither Swift nor Lively has publicly addressed the status of their friendship.
Swift and Lively had been close friends for around a decade, frequently celebrating milestones together, with the singer even referencing Lively and Reynolds' children in her music.
Meanwhile, Swift and Kelce kicked off their wedding celebrations in spectacular fashion at Madison Square Garden, where Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper and other celebrity guests were seen arriving for the exclusive rehearsal dinner ahead of the couple's main celebration on Friday.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to tie the knot in a massive ceremony at a colossal venue in the next week or so, but some big names have been left off the invite list.
The ultimate celebrity couple's wedding will be the talk of the town when it takes place, with attention already being brought to the guest list and even the rules.
One wedding guest has already shared that the A-list couple does not want gifts from guests, but there's still a lot more that isn't known by the public before the wedding takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York, fit for around 1,000 guests.
Names such as Selena Gomez and husband Benny Blanco, as well as Cara Delevingne and Ed Sheeran have been floated around as rumored star-studded guests at the event.
Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski, a friend of Swift's, was also said to have been invited, though when asked about it, he said: “They’re getting married? Wow, I should really send some flowers or some kind of a congratulation.”
But what about those who weren't invited?
It has only been reported by publications so far, but it is believed that a number of big names will miss out on one of the celebrity weddings of the decade.
Here are the six names that are rumored to have made the no-invite list.
Page Six reports that the actress has not been invited to her former bestie's wedding, just two years on from their antics at the Super Bowl together.
The outlet added: “There hasn’t been an olive branch when it comes to their friendship,” an insider said.
“And Taylor hasn’t extended a wedding invitation to Blake.”
The Taylor Swift superfan has been left off the guest list, as she was asked if she was invited by ET.
“No, of course not. Me? No. She’d be smart not to invite me, honestly,” she admitted.
Glaser went on: “I look forward to the grainy helicopter pictures that I see of it eventually, but that’s all I should get.”
Swift was known to be good friends with Miles and Keleigh Teller in the past, but it looks like they have been overlooked for her wedding.
Page Six has claimed that they did not make the guest list, with the reasoning unclear.
According to TMZ sources, the friends had grown apart "due to differences in their lifestyles," but the explanation behind this is being kept under wraps.
Maisie Peters, 25, is a singer who served as the opening act for Swift's Eras Tour in August 2024 at Wembley Stadium in London.
The artist, known for the 2017 tune Place We Were Made, revealed that she was not invited to the wedding during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show.
When asked about the wedding, she revealed: “I’ve not received a sourdough loaf or a wedding invite, I think that’s OK.”
The Swiftie admitted in December that he was also snubbed, telling People: “No, I didn’t get an invite to the wedding. I ain’t expect one. You know what I’m saying? The whole nine.
"But they know they got my blessings and if she invites me, you dig? All right. I’m going. King Swiftie going to be at the wedding.”
He may have been handed an invitation since then, but this has not been confirmed.

Ryan Reynolds has trolled Taylor Swift and Blake Lively by editing a photo of the pair and replacing their faces with himself and Travis Kelce.
There aren't many friendship groups that can claim to be as iconic as Reynolds, Lively, Swift, and Kelce, especially when they go on double dates together.
It would seem that the two couples aren't afraid to poke fun at each other either - though we should know that about Reynolds and Lively already.
Lively and Swift were photographed together at Beyoncé’s Renaissance movie premiere in London last Thursday, where the Gossip Girl alum had her hand on the thigh of the 'Cruel Summer' songstress, who dazzled in a silver Balmain gown with a thigh-high slit.
Reynolds saw this image and evidently decided that it needed jazzing up a little bit, so he showcased his photo editing expertise to the world.
"I feel like I should remember this," Reynolds captioned the edited picture on Instagram, which now featured his face edited over Lively's, and Kelce's over Swift's.
As per Page Six, Swift and Kelce reunited in Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday, sporting what fans speculate were matching Christmas sweaters at a festive bar called Miracle on Main Street.
The two were joined by Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes. The Super Bowl champions later jetted off to Wisconsin for their game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Prior to the game, the Packers' head coach Matt LaFleur was questioned about Swift attending, to which he replied: "It is what it is. It comes with it I guess. Is she supposed to be here? That’s what I’ve heard. So we’ll see."
Swift did attend the game, and sadly for her, she watched Kelce and the Chiefs suffer a 27-19 defeat at the hands of the Packers.
In October, she brought Reynolds and Lively along to Kelce's game against the New York Jets, where they were spotted arriving at the stadium with Hugh Jackman and Sabrina Carpenter. The group then headed to a VIP box, where they enthusiastically cheered for the football star.
Despite the public show of affection, not everyone is convinced that Swift and Kelce are actually loved up, as the former UFC star Paige VanZant explained.
During an episode of her podcast Paige and Austin, the former professional mixed martial artist made some bold claims, stating that she thinks that the 33-year-old singer and the 34-year-old NFL star are in a relationship that is "100 percent fake."
"I think that the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce 'love story' - I believe it’s 100 percent fake," she said on the show. "Come for me, Swifties. I have UFC fans coming for me, I think I can handle the Swifties."
She continued, explaining the reasons behind her conclusion.
"It is publicity. It is — one, it’s huge for the NFL because yes, the NFL is big. Taylor Swift is huge and now she’s getting an entirely different demographic to come watch the NFL," VanZant said. "Think of the wives that are buying Travis Kelce jerseys now. It’s a huge publicity play on both fronts. It’s good for Taylor Swift, it’s good for the NFL, it’s good for Travis Kelce.
"There is so much strategic stuff that’s happening," she added.
Regardless, they and their A-list friends are clearly having fun!

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have seemingly welcomed a new member of their family.
While the 35-year-old Gossip Girl alum and the 46-year-old Deadpool star have not yet shared photos of their newborn, Lively did share a picture revealing she's no longer sporting a baby bump.
"Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023 been busy," she captioned an Instagram post, which showed her with Reynolds' mother Tammy as well as her doting husband ahead of the Super Bowl.
The post also contained pictures of their Super Bowl meals.
Eagle-eyed Instagram users noticed the actress was now sans baby bump, with one writing: "Wait did you have the baby?"
"Did I miss something. Where is the baby bump?" a second wondered.
"The baby is here," another stated.
The pair who tied the knot in 2012, share three daughters: seven-year-old James, five-year-old Inez, and two-year-old Betty.
Lively announced last September that they were expecting another child as she showed off her baby bump at the 10th annual Forbes Power Women's Summit.
Reynolds previously spoke about his growing family in a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight.
"I'm very excited," he told the outlet. "We'd have to be. You know, you'd have to be a moron to do this four times if you didn't like it. It's gonna be nuts, but we're very excited."
Lively also spoke openly about parenting with Reynolds in a 2016 interview with Marie Claire. "Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had," she said. "We don't ever want to rob them of what we had, because we'd feel really selfish."
Lively and Reynolds first met on the set of Green Lantern back in 2010 but were both in relationships with other people at the time. They began dating the following year.
Reynolds previously spoke about the important of spending time with his daughters and said this was the reason he wanted to take a hiatus from Hollywood.
Speaking to LinkedIn News Senior Editor at Large Jessi Hempel, Reynolds said: "The biggest thing for me, and I know you have kids as well, is that I don't want to miss this time with my kids."
He went on to say that he hopes to "live life like a normal human," adding: "I want my kids to have a pretty normal schedule. For many years when my wife Blake would shoot a film, I would not shoot a film and I would be with the kids and vice versa."
"So we would sort of trade-off. We never really worked at the same time. But always we were away. So the kids were away too," he said.

Amid all the celebrity break-ups that went down this year, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were the couple that maintained our faith in love.
Let's be honest, it was looking pretty bleak for a while there. First of all in January, we had Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff, then came Michael Sheen and Sarah Silverman in February, followed by Hollywood sweethearts Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan and WWE power couple John Cena and Nikki Bella. By the time, Liam Payne and Cheryl announced their separation in July, we were losing all hope. What was the point?
Then, we remembered Blake and Ryan. Having married back in 2012 after a year of dating, the pair had welcomed two beautiful children and were going strong, trolling one another on social media every chance they got. Thank God for true love, eh?
However, recently Ryan revealed the reason that the former Gossip Girl actress would probably eventually divorce him - and, in typical Ryan-style, it was pretty funny.
Speaking at an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, the Green Lantern star stated that his wife was currently away from home shooting a movie, leaving him home alone with their kids, one-year-old Inez and three-year-old James.
But, while you'd think that his attention would be on them, you'd be wrong. The 41-year-old went on to say that, rather than looking after the kids, he was actually embarking on "a weird movie tour", saying: "Do you ever do that thing where you watch, like, every Quentin Tarantino movie? I've been kind of doing that."
Admitting that this would likely displease Blake, he went on to joke: "My wife's been shooting a film overseas so I've been having a ton of time to pretend like I'm watching the kids. She's probably filing divorce papers as we speak."
Luckily for all of us, the actor - who was at Comic-Con to discuss the new Deadpool film - was most definitely joking, and we can all breathe a relieved sigh that Hollywood's cutest couple are going to be together for quite some time yet. Phew.
Blake has recently been away filming the thriller The Rhythm Section in Spain and Ireland, with the new movie set for release in February 2019. However, that hasn't stopped her from roasting her husband on social media.
Last month, she took to Instagram to upload posters for her upcoming movie, A Simple Favor, set to come out later this year. The movie co-stars Anna Kendrick and follows a small-town blogger who tries to solve the disappearance of her mysterious and rich best friend.
In true Lively fashion, the Age of Adaline star took the chance to burn her husband in her caption, writing: "@annakendrick47 is the hotter, female(r) version my husband... so, would it reaaaally count as cheating??" Anna herself even got involved, writing: "So glad we're finally taking this public. I let Ryan have Deadpool, he can give me this."

Not long after, the actor came up with the reply that everyone was ready for. He didn't disappoint - but did admit defeat - posting: "The most ambitious crossover event in history. I'll miss you both. Tell my story."
Nawww! Aren't they the best couple in Hollywood? I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.

For some reason, us ordinary folk derive great enjoyment from peeking into the lives of the rich and famous. Whether we're scrolling through their perfectly curated Instagram feeds or picking up tabloids, our voyeuristic tendencies are only exemplified when we have a perfect celebrity coupling to get invested in.
The list of fan-favourite celebrity couples is never ending. I mean, who can forget Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder? In the years since that iconic coupling, we have seen our favourite actors, musicians and models date, marry and then inevitably divorce. And while you'd think that after years of reading about their love, lust and heartbreak, we'd bore of it and concentrate on our own romantic endeavours, you're wrong. We're still way too interested in what the top one per cent does.
And who wouldn't be when there's Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively around? Apparently it's not enough that they've both won the genetic lottery, and have illustrious careers in one of the most difficult industries to break into. No, they seemingly have a picture-perfect relationship to boot.
When they're not poking fun at each other on their respective social media accounts, Reynolds and Lively are photographed leading wholly normal lives with their two daughters, James and Ines. But now, there's rumour of strife in their marriage, and the Deadpool star has addressed them in the only way he saw fit...

Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to address speculation that there's trouble in his marriage.
After a gossip website tweeted out, "Deadpool Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively struggling to spend 'quality time'", Reynolds responded to the (likely) ludicrous assertion with his trademark sense of humour. "I wish,” the 41-year-old actor wrote. "I could use a little 'me time'".

Phew. Thankfully there seems to be no strife in Blake and Ryan's perfect union. I fully expect them to go back to normal programming over the next few days, and by that I mean trolling the sh*t out of each other.
Lively recently opened up about one of the reasons why she and Reynolds work so well together, and it has to do with understanding how "bizarre" the whole Hollywood shindig is. "In general, it's nice to have someone who understands what you're doing," she said on a Good Morning America interview. "Especially because our job is so weird—you have to be 'married' to other people, it's all so strange. It's never normal, even when you're both doing it."
The 30-year-old also revealed how awkward shooting sex scenes can be. "It's helpful to know when you're acting that you're in a relationship with someone else, that that's not what's actually happening," Blake stated. "Because I have friends who aren't married to someone who's in the business, so they're like: ‘Oh, so you're not actually making love in that scene?!' And I'm like: 'No, no, no, no, definitely not.'"

Well, there you have it - Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are, thankfully, as strong as ever.
In related news, Blake Lively has revealed why she still doesn't have a stylist.
