As far as inked celebrities go, Vanessa Hudgens is known to have a penchant for tiny, delicate, and relatively subtle tattoos. However, the actor and singer's latest body art is noticeably bigger than her previous tats.

Proud of her new ink, Vanessa has since taken to Instagram to post a video and a picture featuring her "divine feminine angel" tattoo.

This is the moment Vanessa saw her latest tattoo for the first time:

In the caption for the snap, she referred to the tattoo as a "divine feminine angel", adding: "not me.... my tat. But you can call me that, if you want to."

Most of her fans loved the new intricate artwork, with one writing: "babeeee I'm dying!!! it looks so good. you're making me want to get another tattoo lol [sic]."

Another gushed: "This is beautiful!!"

However, a different user speculated that the High School Musical star has "been spiraling after her breakup" with Austin Butler.

Back in January, Hudgens showed off another inking - a small sunflower on her sideboob. Posting the new body art for her 38 million followers to admire, Hudgens wrote: "And to conclude our #thirstythursday Hahahahaha".

In January, it also emerged that Vanessa and Austin had called it quits after nine years together.

A source told E! News at the time: "They’re just shooting on two different continents and it’s a matter of distance. There is no bad blood at all, and they have a lot of respect for each other."

Although they "are split for now," they're also "going to see what happens," another source told the outlet. The insider continued, "They have such a history and deep connection they could find their way back to one another."

Here's hoping the pair's romance will be rekindled one day. Vanessa did, after all, lovingly refer to Austin as her "best friend" in a 2018 interview with Women's Health.

"He inspires me more than anyone," she added. "We both respect, trust, and admire each other. It's so solid now because I feel strong as an independent woman. I am very self-reliant, but it's nice to have a best friend you can share victories with as well as losses."
