54-year-old thirst trap and most excellent Wyld Stallyns frontman Keanu Reeves isn't done kicking people's asses. After starring in the blockbuster Matrix trilogy, he has another hit action franchise to his name with John Wick. Well, good news, Baba Yaga fans! It was announced Monday through the John Wick 3 viral text messaging service that Chapter 4 will be released in movie theaters on May 21, 2021. I know, it seems so far away, but at least you have the trilogy, a video game and a possible TV series spinoff!
"They have a writers' room working on it right now, trying to develop the first season," Stahelski told Entertainment Weekly. "Keanu and I have sat with that creative element and laid out what we feel makes John Wick special, and what would make the TV show unique. Now, it will be a round of back-and-forths. But, yeah, Lionsgate is in the actual full development of it and it's called The Continental. It should be fun."
Watch the trailer for the John Wick Hex video gameAs for Reeves, he told Rolling Stone that he's down to keep John Wick-ing, despite the physical challenges, given his age. But the only way he knows how is through John Wick. And John Wick keeps fuc*ing killing people and breaking rules. We're really watching a person fight for their life and their soul."
