Britney Spears has finally got her happily ever after with long-term partner Sam Asghari.
Last week, the couple officially tied the knot after getting engaged back in September 2021.
The 'Toxic' singer revealed the nuptials to her 41.5 million Instagram followers by sharing a series of stunning photos from their big day.
E! News reported that the 40-year-old singer wore a gown created by Donatella Versace for her big day and completed her bridal look with jewelry from Stephanie Gottlieb and makeup by Charlotte Tilbury. Additionally, she is also said to have walked down the aisle alone to Elvis Presley's 1961 hit 'Can't Help Falling In Love'.
In the pics, 28-year-old Asghari looks dapper in his tux, but the spotlight was certainly shining on the bride, as Britney dazzled guests in her Versace gown.
As you can imagine, Spears' wedding posts have amassed millions of reactions on social media - including a supportive comment from her mom, Lynne.
As reported by PageSix, 67-year-old Lynne did not receive an invite to her daughter's wedding on Thursday.
It comes as no surprise after the pair's public falling out amid Britney's legal pursuit to have her conservatorship terminated last year. After being granted her release from the conservatorship, the singer even said back in January that she should have "slapped" her mom and sister in the face.
But, judging from her mom's comment, it would appear as if Lynne is just happy to see her daughter beaming with joy.
"You look radiant and so happy," mom Lynn commented on Instagram. "Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!"
However, following last year's tumultuous conservatorship proceedings, many of Britney's fans did not take kindly to Lynne's comment.
"Please stay away from Britney and let her live," one person responded, adding: Haven't you done/taken enough?"
Another replied: "She looks radiant because she’s not an oppressed workhorse anymore, no thanks to you Lynne."
Stars who were actually in attendance for the special day reportedly included Donatella Versace, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, and Kathy Hilton.
Spears and Asghari first met on the set of her 'Slumber Party' music video back in 2016.
Asghari's manager, Brandon Cohen, told PEOPLE in a statement: "The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them."
Congratulations to the happy couple!
