The chilling reaction of a drunk driver who killed a bride on her wedding night has been revealed through new footage.
Jamie Lee Komoroski had been bar-hopping before getting behind the wheel of her car.
She was driving at 65mph when she collided with a golf cart carrying a couple - Samantha Miller and Aric Hutcherson - who had gotten married that same day.
Now, new footage released by the police on the night of Komoroski's arrest, reveals her reaction as she was arrested for the crash.
The video of Jamie Lee Komoroski's arrest shows her in a state of apparent distress as she is taken away by officers.
In the clip, she can be seen urging the South Carolina cops around her to go and check on Miller, moments after the crash that killed her.
"Is she okay?" She asks in the clip, before yelping, "go check on her!' to a cop who was surveying the wreckage of the accident.
Komoroski was helped to her feet, where she then apparently spies Miller's body and screams. In the clip, the officers are then advised to get a blanket and cover the bride up.
Komoroski was arrested following the crash and ended up pleading guilty to reckless homicide, a felony DUI, and two counts of DUI causing greater bodily injury or death.
During her time in custody, she could be seen complaining about the arrest to officers, and demanded to call her father.
When given the chance to strike a plea deal, meaning her case wouldn't go to trial and spare Miller's family further harm, Komoroski refused.
At the trial, Komoroski did apologise to her victims and their family, saying that "this is the worst decision I have ever made in my life.
"I want them to know how sorry I am from the bottom of my heart and that I take full responsibility for my actions."
Ultimately, the judge sentenced Komoroski to 25 years in jail for reckless homicide, as well as 5 years for the two DUI charges and 10 years for the felony DUI charge, all of which will be served concurrently.
During the trial, Aric Hutcherson told the jury how devastated he was by Miller's death, and revealed that he wished to have died alongside her.
"I think about that night every single day and the last moments that I had with Sam on the golf cart," he said. "I wish I had gone that night, so she didn’t have to go alone."
