The channel ‘I Ask AI’ put eight different artificial intelligences to the test with one simple prompt: describe Donald Trump in a single word.
Each AI would be asked to give “just one” word, followed by a short explanation, because, as he put it, “otherwise it’s just a word floating there and that’s kind of no fun.”
The lineup included ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Google’s Gemini, China’s DeepSeek, France’s Mistral, and Trump’s own AI on Truth Social.
ChatGPT was first, and it landed on the word “Disruptive.” Its explanation described Trump as one of the most disruptive presidents in modern American history, arguing that he regularly shakes up institutions, forces reactions, and prefers sweeping confrontations over incremental governance.
Claude followed with “Overreach.” Its response said Trump had been testing how far executive power could stretch, pointing to executive actions, tariffs, deportations, and clashes with the courts.
Microsoft Copilot chose “Unrestrained.” It described Trump’s style as fast, forceful, and often legally contested.
Google’s Gemini went with “Unilateral.” It framed Trump’s second term as a top-down use of executive power, emphasizing aggressive orders, tariffs, border action, and efforts to reshape the federal government.
DeepSeek, after needing translation from Chinese, produced the most explosive answer of the day: “Destruction.” Its explanation called Trump’s presidency a systematic dismantling of institutions and even claimed broad public dissatisfaction.
Mistral, also referred to as Vibe or Le Chat, chose “Authoritarian.” Its explanation described Trump’s second term as an assault on democratic norms.
Trump’s own AI on Truth Social answered “Chaotic.” It portrayed his presidency as driven by force, spectacle, loyalty tests, and improvisation.
Yet, it was Grok that provided the most controversial answer, and the result stunned him. Grok chose “Winner.” The explanation praised Trump’s second term in sweeping terms, claiming he had forced border changes, tax cuts, bureaucratic cuts, and major policy shifts.
When he tried a fresh chat, Grok still didn’t back down and returned “Relentless” - a damning indictment of the Trump administration.
