Baba Vanga makes chilling 2027 prediction involving Vladimir Putin
Notorious Bulgarian prophet Baba Vanga had a chilling premonition for 2027 - one that specifically involves controversial Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Despite dying in 1996, Baba Vanga's prophecies are wide-ranging and stretch to hundreds of years into the future.
The late mystic is widely regarded by her followers to have accurately predicted some major world events; from the events of 9/11 to the election of Barack Obama.
Now, however, it seemed that Vanga's mystic vision has landed on Putin. And it could spell trouble.
What was Baba Vanga's prophecy involving Vladimir Putin?
The soothsayer apparently had something to say about changing tides in Russia at the start of the New Year.
According to Baba Vanga, by the start of 2027, Russia's long-term leader would no longer be at the country's helm.
This means, of course, that she predicts a change in current Russian leadership. Russia's current President, Vladimir Putin, has held continuous power in the country for nearly 27 years.
Is this prediction to mean we can expect that to change? And what would a Putin-less Russia look like, and what would that mean for the geopolitical events such as the current war with Ukraine?
What are the other prophecies of Baba Vanga?
Some of Vanga's prophecy for the next year on Earth point to a changing tide of chaos in many cases.
The late mystic had, before her death 30 years ago, foreseen natural disasters devastating the planet all over, as well as an intensifying of worldwide conflicts possibly leading to a third World War.
Fans of UFOs should also keep a look out to the skies next month. One of Vanga's more concrete predictions was that humans would make first contact with aliens in November 2026.
Jumping a bit further into the future, Vanga notes 2028, just two years away, as an important time for humanity. That year will be a big one, she says, as we'll create a brand new source of energy.
One perhaps less likely to come true (though you never know...) is that humanity is meant to develop "superpowers" within the next few years, according to the deceased soothsayer.
If anyone suddenly knows how to fly or starts turning invisible... let us know!
Despite dying in 1996, Vanga's gospel has been spread far and wide by her followers in the years since her death.
One problem, however, is that the mystic never wrote down any of her prophecies in her lifetime - so the verification of any prophecies (or even if Vanga made them herself) is impossible.
