Britney Spears has once again reached out to her fans to put an end to concerns sparked by her recent Instagram video, in which she dances two large "knives".

The 41-year-old 'Toxic' singer has found herself in another swirl of concern and media scrutiny after posting a second "knife" video.

Spears, known for her tumultuous personal life, ignited the recent controversy with a video post on September 25, showing her dancing and twirling with the objects.

"I started playing in the kitchen with knives today," Spears wrote in the caption.

This video prompted fans to elicit a wellness check from authorities, emphasizing the heightened concerns surrounding her wellbeing.

The singer, quick to respond to the concerns, amended the caption of her original video, affirming, “Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon!!!”

Spears, in her subsequent video shared on September 29, reiterated this clarification, noting, “I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA.”

She continued: "These are not real knives. No one needs to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira … a performance I was inspired by !!! Cheers to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks."

This controversy unfolds in the wake of Spears' plea for privacy, following alleged prank calls that led to police presence at her residence.

“The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately,” she shared on X/Twitter in January, voicing her feelings of being gaslit and unfairly portrayed by the media.

Spears' ongoing dialogue with her fans and the media comes amid her split from husband Sam Asghari, following 14 months of marriage. Asghari’s divorce filing in August, citing irreconcilable differences, was met with mutual expressions of love and respect, and calls for kindness from the public and media.

Spears broke her silence on the divorce, confirming, “As everyone knows, Hesam [Asghari] and I are no longer together.”

We wish Spears and Asghari all the best as they navigate their divorce.
