A TV presenter who was responsible for an embarrassing, NSFW slip-up on live TV has spoken out at the viral moment for the first time.
Toni Brattin, a host for QVC, has worked in television for almost 30 years - but one slip of the tongue saw her make headlines for the first time.
While presenting on the shopping channel, Brattin was modelling a wig for the camera - and mistakenly said that it would make purchasers look like they'd just had a 'bl*w j*b' and not a 'blow out' as she originally intended to say.
It seems, however, that she's taking it all in her stride as she talks about the incident for the first time.
In an interview with TMZ, Brattin says she knew 'immediately' that there was no taking the words back.
"When you're doing a show, your mind is going [in] 50 [different] directions," Brattin explained.
"You're kind of [on] autopilot when you're talking because you've said this so many times.
"At the moment it comes out, you almost say to yourself 'Did I just say what I think I said?'"
Brattin went on to say that, once the slip-up happened, 'you can't take those words back. They're out there.'
"I tried to correct it and say the correct [thing] but everyone caught it. I was hearing snickering [in my ear piece]."
But luckily, the veteran presenter says that she wasn't in hot water with her bosses - and that the brass at QVC were actually very understanding and actually even thanked her for maintaining her professionalism after the incident occurred.
It seems that Brattin is taking the slip-up in her stride.
The incident was even featured on popular US chat show The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, where the former SNL star gently ribbed Brattin's slip-up to his audience of millions.
Brattin even admitted that she wasn't aware of just how viral her slip-up had become until she'd seen the sketch featured on Fallon's show.
"Jimmy Fallon [did] a hilarious [impersonation] of me," Brattin told TMZ. "Jimmy, hats off. I had to laugh at him as much as I had to laugh at myself."
Reaching out directly to Fallon, Brattin called his impersonation of her 'hilarious' and revealed that she's actually saved a very special wig just for him - and that she'd like to gift it to him for his birthday.
