A mystery woman has lit up social media after a viral video showed her making a very unexpected hand gesture behind the back of Donald Trump.
Now nicknamed 'The Zapper,' here's everything we know about the woman in question and the video that has gone exceedingly viral.
The clip, which was taken at a meeting in the White House in which President Trump was listening to a talk by an expert about research into autism, has gone viral for all the reasons.
But why? And who is the mysterious woman those have named 'The Zapper?' Let's dive into it.
The viral video, which has lit a fire across social media sites such as X (formerly known as Twitter) was set in the White House.
President Trump was sat listening to an official give him a filmed update on research into autism.
As the President is sat down, listening to what the man is saying, you can see him seemingly falling asleep before briefly dozing off.
Behind him the entire time is an as-yet-unidentified woman, stood between Trump and the official talk to him.
As the lecture goes on, the woman has one hand on her stomach and the other at her side.
What many social media users have seen is her making an unexpected hand gesture behind Trump, right as he seems to close his eyes. The hand on her stomach raises a little and seems to clench something.
Now, the woman has been called by many 'The Zapper,' as the joke is that seeing that Trump was falling asleep, she had a button fitted into her hands and pressed it, 'zapping' the President back awake.
One user, Tim Brannigan, took a rather comedic view of the situation, writing his response to the video as if he was delivering an official report.
"Claims she has a button fitted on her belly," Brannigan wrote.
"And when she gets the nod that he’s asleep she moves her hand and presses a button that wakes him.
"They’re calling her The Zapper. No idea if it’s true but it *appears* to line up."
Another user seemed to disagree, adding: "If this were true they could easily pick someone not on camera."
As always, though, there were plenty of Trump fans ready to silence any criticism towards him.
One such user stated that, "Looks like [Trump] is trying to listen intently since the person speaking is not in his line of sight and he is making sure that he understands everything that is being said."
