Kim Kardashian has found herself at the center of another Formula 1 controversy after fans accused her of "stealing" race winner Kimi Antonelli's towel moments after the Monaco Grand Prix.
The reality TV star attended the race alongside her sister, Khloé Kardashian, to support her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton.
This marked the SKIMS founder's first appearance at an F1 race in support of Hamilton since the pair reportedly began dating earlier this year.
Just before the podium ceremony, Kardashian was seen grabbing the towel reserved for race winner Kimi Antonelli and using it to pat herself down.
The towels are provided to the top three drivers after the race to help them cool off.
They are also often special limited-edition or one-of-a-kind items featuring collaborations with luxury lifestyle or streetwear brands, News.com.au reported.
A video of the moment quickly spread across social media, with many fans expressing frustration.
One person slammed: "Imagine getting your first Monaco podium and immediately losing your towel to Kim Kardashian."
Another blasted: "Nobody aside from the teams should be allowed near the drivers stuff! Doesn't matter who they are, the drivers deserve their space."
A third wrote: "She knew exactly what she was doing. disgusting. Ban her from the paddock to save f1's not so bright future."
Another fan argued: "It was never Just about a towel. It's about a growing feeling that some celebrity guests treat the paddock and podium like a VIP lounge. The spotlight should be on the people who earned the moment, not the Guests who were invited to watch it."
The towel incident wasn't the only moment involving the mom-of-four that got fans talking during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.
Earlier in the day, the reality star was criticized after appearing to ignore Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle during his famous pre-race grid walk.
Kardashian and her sister had arrived at the event wearing coordinated outfits as they made their way through the paddock before the race.
While the reality TV star dominated social media conversation, her rumored boyfriend had plenty to celebrate on the track.
The Ferrari driver crossed the line in second place behind Mercedes sensation Antonelli, who secured his fifth consecutive victory and stretched his championship lead to 66 points.
Hamilton also moved ahead of George Russell in the drivers' standings after Russell endured a difficult weekend.
Following the race, the seven-time world champion spoke warmly about having Kardashian by his side.
"It is amazing to have her come this weekend and to have that support," he told reporters. "It is amazing to have good people around you, good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day."
